Bandanas

Traditions and cultures all over the world have grown and developed for many thousands of years. We still find the remnants of old culture in our present society in their original form or an evolved one.

Traditions include almost every aspect of life including eating habits, dressing sense, the social culture and many more. Certain countries like India, Pakistan, Mexico, Argentina and many more have retained their dressing culture up to a large extent.

People in these countries love to dress the way their ancestors used too and this is the reason why the culture has been passes on from generation to generation.

Bandanas have stood the test of time and retained that ancestral essence. Bandanas are those wraparounds worn chiefly around heads and necks for protection against the extremities of heat and cold.

They are also worn for decorative purposes during social occasions.We have seen various representatives coming from different countries wearing different types of bandanas in the UNO conferences.

Surprisingly people in all most all regions of the world people have been using bandanas in some or the other form.

There has always been a difference in style or the pattern of the cloth, and the material of the cloth used.The way in which the bandana is worn also shows which area of the country or the world a person is coming from.

We have observed the pattern of bandanas worn differently in Europe, the Arabic countries, the African countries and the eastern countries.

Different regions in countries like India and Pakistan have different ways of wrapping the bandana, thus symbolizing the cultural descent of a person and the region he is coming from.
