The basic reason why they were invented was to cover the genital organs and breasts in females exposing the entire body surface to water.

Even the bathing suits are available in different varieties depending on the purpose of their usage as well the level of comfort.

Different varieties for men are jammers, speedos, board shorts, thongs and bikinis. It’s only the type that is important for men’s varieties but for women there is a whole lot of designs available ranging in from all the colors to designs possible.

There could be two kinds of women bathing suits single piece and double piece.

Single piece is a one piece suit with different types like monokinis, thong swim suits, slings bikini, pretzel suits etc.
