Synthetic Carpets

The commonly used carpet by most of the people is the synthetic carpets. They are usually made of synthetic hand knotted carpets which gives a special silky appearance. They are referred to be similar to that of silk carpets as they have same valued properties related to them.

Fine knots are seen in the carpet which might range upto 250 or more knots per square inch. They are produced from Agra, Gwalior and Srinagar.Synthetic carpets are chosen by the common people due to the varying advantages that makes them unique.

They are produced from different kinds of synthetic yarns which are three in number and include olefin, nylon, acrylic, polyester etc. Nylon is preferred by most of the people from the different types of yarns states.

They are chosen due to their durability, high performance rate, easy maintenance etc. they afford to protect the floor from soil and even traffic at the same time. These carpets are available in different colours that would be liked by you.

These synthetic carpets can also be dyed in two different ways which includes acid or chemical dying technique. Olefin is also known as polypropylene and is usually referred to as Berbers and level loops. They are also chosen commonly by people as they are stain, mildew and mould resistant.

They are multi purpose carpets as they could be used as both indoor as well outdoor carpets. They are resistant to crushing and matting and are yield a better performance while comparing to nylon fiber.There are a lot of colours which are available in the polyester fiber but the drawback is that they are not as durable as nylon fiber.

A wide range of colours as well as designs are offered by these carpets. Apart from all these it also has a very soft feel for the carpet and due to this reason they are advised to be used outdoor. The acrylic synthetic carpets have a real wood finish and provide a royal finish to the surrounding. But they are not preferred these days due to their ability to pile reversal and burn easily.
