The most expensive out of these three are wool which has great stain resistance and the most cheaply available rugs are the olefin which is the most affordable carpet which is man-made fiber. They are moisture resistant and due to this reason they can be easily used in bathrooms, basements etc.

They are priced just one third as that of the wool! Nylon is n between these two which is not much costly and not very cheap too. They could be used for the purpose of wall to wall carpeting as they are available in varying colours.

The wall to wall carpets should always be cared well as they should be cleaned often to keep dirt and dust away from houses. It is recommended to steam clean the wall to wall carpet every 12 to 18 months even if the carpet does not need the cleaning procedure.
